The new season of the ROK Talk Show starts excellently, the web program dedicated to post-race of the ROK Cup one-make series by Vortex. Last Thursday, February 13, at 9 p.m., the first episode of 2025 aired on our Facebook page, with more than 39,000 people online (tracking February 17, 2025).

Mara Sangiorgio, Sky Sport F1 journalist and a great karting enthusiast, has discussed in detail the race weekend of the ROK Cup Winter Trophy, at the South Garda Karting track in Lonato (Italy) on January 8-9, through the highlights of all seven categories (Mini ROK U10, Mini ROK, Junior ROK, Senior ROK, Expert ROK, Super ROK and Shifter ROK).

The show's episode also represented an opportunity to examine what was seen on the track through “hot” interviews with key riders. Two examples? Filippo Frigerio, who explained how difficult it is to win in the Mini ROK category: “Lucas Doillon was always trying to overtake me, but I was able to cross the line. On the last lap I gained that small advantage that I needed to win.” Also Claudio Pagliarani, winner of the Expert ROK final: “If we consider that the ROK Cup Superfinal 2024 was run in the wet, our expectations in these conditions were very high and they were actually met!”

The ROK Talk Show also highlighted the success of the Mini ROK category in the recent years, with an average of 46 drivers per race considering the ROK Cup Italia, ROK Cup Winter Trophy and ROK Cup Festival, just in 2024. As a matter of fact, an “Under 10” category has been introduced from 2025, aimed at the very young Rokkers at their first karting experience.

In addition, some space has been given to the new ROK SVR engine, which was presented to the public on the occasion of the ROK Cup Superfinal 2024 and employed by the Senior ROK and Expert ROK classes from this year. This is another step forward for the ROK Cup range, result of Vortex's many years of experience in the ROK Cup oen-make championships and CIK-FIA international competitions.
